Erika is from the beautiful SoCal beaches of Ventura. She’s always had a passion for animals and started doing volunteer work at her local shelters when she was 12 years old and still does.
Right before she joined us here in the Central Valley she adopted a washed Service dog. Little did she know the trauma of his past experiences and how they affected him. She spent months working with him, consulting trainers and reintroducing him to things and trying to associate scary things as something positive. After a whole year he really blossomed and this gave her the idea of becoming a trainer herself.
Erika proceeded to work with a competition dog kennel and got to experience the methods of training incredible champion disc dogs, this is what really sealed her dog trainer career path.
Finally she came here and joined the team and has been working to becoming the best trainer she can be.
